Jesús Ponce
Born in Seville in 1971, he began his career as director and editor of short films and worked in television. His first feature, 15 días contigo (2005) received various awards and a Goya nomination. It was followed by Skizo (2006) and Déjate caer (2007). He worked at directing television formats for several years, the most notable of which included Pelotas (for TVE) by Jose Corbacho, or Padre Medina (for Canal Sur). In 2015 he returned to film direction with Todo saldrá bien (2016). He has also edited feature films such as La soledad del triunfo (Álvaro de Armiñán, 2012) and Ciudadano Villanueva (Francisco Javier Gómez Pinteño, 2012); and he was writer on Siempre hay tiempo (Ana Rosa Diego, 2009) and Mami Blue (Miguel Ángel Calvo Buttini, 2010).
