Irune doesn’t know how long it’s been since she left the industrial town where she lives. Her interactions are limited to those she encounters daily: her colleagues at the paper mill, a neighbour with whom she shares a semblance of friendship, and a Renfe train operator to whom she enquires about train times that she never gets to take. One could say that her life is as grey as the smoke from the factories or the sky above her village. But one day, while going through a tense conflict at work, Irune finds a lump in her chest, and the fragile balance of her routine is thrown into disarray.
