The Seville European Film Festival has closed its 17th edition with the presentation of the complete list of winners, in an act in which the mayor of Seville, Juan Espadas, wanted to accompany the director of the event, José Luis Cienfuegos. "Today must be a happy day, and the phrase that sums it up is: mission accomplished", expressed Espadas at the opening of an event that was also attended by the Secretary-General of Cultural Innovation and Museums of the Andalusian Regional Government, Mar Sánchez Estrella; the delegate of Urban Habitat, Culture, and Tourism of the City Council, Antonio Muñoz; the Director of Cultural Innovation and Museums of the Regional Government, María Pía Halcón; the delegate of Education and Southern District of the City Council, María Luisa Gómez Castaño; and representatives of collaborating entities such as Renault and Canal Sur Radio and Television, who have supported with their presence the intervention —both in-person and online— of members of the different juries involved in the festival and some of the winners.
