Press, photojournalists and industry professionals have until 21 October to apply.
The Seville European Film Festival already has its sights set on November. With its 23rd edition on the horizon, the festival has opened the application period for accreditations, which will remain open until Wednesday 21 October.
This year there are three types of accreditation, designed for different profiles. The Press accreditation is reserved for media outlets, whether print or online press, news agencies, television, radio or specialised magazines. It is free of charge and grants direct access to press conferences and the festival's side activities, as well as to screenings.
The second is the Graphic Press accreditation, aimed at photojournalists and camera operators. It is also free and gives access to press conferences, photocalls, presentations and meetings with filmmakers, although it does not grant access to screenings.
Lastly, for those working in the film industry, there is the Professional accreditation, with a fee of €35. In addition to access to professional programme activities that do not require prior registration, it allows holders to redeem up to 30 films.
Please bear in mind that accreditations are personal and non-transferable, and that numbers are limited, so submitting an application does not guarantee approval. The organisation will notify applicants by email of the status of their request before 26 October. And a word of warning for the keenest cinephiles: none of the accreditations is valid for the opening gala or other special events, which are accessible only by invitation or with a ticket.
The process is carried out exclusively online, through the festival's website, and the required documentation must be attached at the time of submitting the application, so it is best to have it ready beforehand. To get started, simply choose your accreditation type from the three buttons below. And if you have any questions, the festival team will be happy to help at acreditaciones@festivalcinesevilla.eu.
