In 19th-century England, Mary is a young girl with a passion for fossils, which she searches for on the beach with her father and then sells to tourists. The sudden death of her father plunges the family into turmoil: without a source of income, they will soon be forced to leave their home and, even worse for Mary, her beloved fossil beach. But before he died, her father left her a mysterious message that could lead her to transform many things.
