Taking its title from a poem by Lorca, Romance de la Luna, Luna centres on a mother and her two daughters spending a summer in an isolated commune in Seville. After taking part in a ritual, almost all the women vanish, leaving the youngest daughter behind. Captivated by the precocious, the filmmaker explores different realities through the aesthetic of memory, laced with a touch of magical realism.
