This social drama captures a chance encounter between two opposing worlds, divided by age, gender, culture, and religion. Justino (Manuel Morón) is a widower who lives in isolation on a vast, solitary estate where he tends to a small garden. Amira (Mina El Hammani) is one of many illegal Moroccan seasonal workers seeking a better future in Spain. One night, Justino accidentally hits Amira with his car. The injuries aren't serious, but she is no longer able to work, so he offers her his home until she recovers.
