JUEVES DE MARZO
María is turning 19, she says goodbye to her mother before catching the train to university. It’s a Thursday in March 2004. Ana Fernández stars in this short that takes us back to the tragic events of 11-M not through political controversy, but by focusing on those who endured an incomprehensible tragedy. With a tense mise-en-scène that relies on a single continuous shot, it captures the random, unpredictable nature of life—and death.
