PILAR TÁVORA
He was born in Seville, in the Cerro del Águila neighborhood, in the heart of a family dedicated to flamenco and theater. Daughter of the well-known playwright Salvador Távora, Pilar is studying psychology at the University of Seville and in parallel she is studying English and starting her career in cinema. She is one of the few directors who make cinema, theater and TV in Spain with her own production company, being therefore, author and businesswoman. Her work is fundamentally dedicated to diverse topics of fiction as well as documentary and television series related to Andalusia, the woman, the culture and the gypsy ethnic group.
