Manuel Galindo was never meant to be an amoragaor—master of the art of skewering freshly caught sardines for the grill—but a family tragedy led him to embrace this singular craft, redolent with the aromas of sand, sea and charred fish on cane skewers over glowing embers. This evocative documentary aims to highlight and honour the tradition of Málaga’s sardine espeto, personified through a master of ceremonies par excellence.
