BORDER
O.V. in Swedish subtitled in Spanish
Winner of the section Un Certain Regard at Cannes, a "fascinating, perverse, provocative fable about what is different " (Diego Batlle in Otroscines) based on a novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist (Let the Right One In). Tina, a border guard, has a great “nose” for detecting people carrying contraband. One day, Vore appears, a man who looks strangely like her, and who fascinates her because she is incapable of discovering what he is hiding behind the aura he exudes. This is the start of a peculiar, very unconventional relationship, and a series of surprising discoveries about humanity that end in an explosive, intense ending.
