Endless Revolutions

ENDLESS TAIL

Željka Suková | Croatia | 2018 | 60 min.
O.V. Croatian subtitle in Spanish and English

Relating to Vera Chytilova’s colourful collages and visual games, Zeljka Sukova constructs her own universe with all the tools that cinema puts at her disposal: sudden changes of space thanks to editing, an unusual use of sound and of found footage: the power of pure imagination. A little girl and boy go into a thick forest near the sea, in search of something. They come across a mysterious door in the middle of the countryside. Where will it lead to? Starting from the children’s fantasy and swimming in the waters of the profane and the sacred, this endless tale is a timeless allegory for the return to paradise.
