The final screening of the workshop "Mi barrio en docu" will showcase two-minute short films created by participants from four districts of Seville. Throughout the workshop, attendees have had the opportunity to produce audiovisual works centered on charismatic and relatable characters from their communities, using only their mobile phones for filming and editing.
Each short film will provide a glimpse into daily life in the neighborhoods, reflecting the diversity and personal stories of their residents. This event is framed within an intergenerational approach, encouraging participation from people of all ages.
The screening will not only display the results of the participants' efforts but will also feature brief interventions from the creators, who will share their experiences and reflections on the creative process. The day aims to foster dialogue and connection among attendees, emphasizing the significance of cinematic storytelling as a tool to strengthen neighborhood identity and pride.
This event is organized by the Seville European Film Festival in collaboration with the City Council of Seville.
