An unusual film, a hybrid between reality and fiction, set in an isolated, almost abandoned town in the Bierzo Alto, in Leon. One night, the women of the town hold a wake for the only man in the town who has just died. Confessions, risqué anecdotes, evocations and community, united by the magic strength of a rural sorority.
