TV5MONDE PARTICIPATES IN THE SEVILLE EUROPEAN FILM FESTIVAL
TV5 MONDE, the leading world channel in French, is participating once again in the Seville European Film Festival, developing various activities linked to education. 13 November will be TV5MONDE’s Day of the French Language and there will be several film sessions sponsored by TV5MONDE and the Institut Français in Seville.
In this new edition,TiVi5MONDE+, the children’s offer on TV5MONDE (available on: tivi5mondeplus.com) and the Institut Français in Seville will offer a film session for children with the animation film ERNEST ET CELESTINE EN HIVER, by Julian Chheng and Jean-Christophe Roger (II), and another junior session where the film FAUVES by Robin Erard will be shown. Both films for students and teacher from French bilingual centres.
That same night there will be a tribute to the work done by teachers of French in Seville in the TV5MONDE film session where ‘PLAIRE, AIMER ET COURIR VITE’ by Christophe Honoré will be shown, with the presence of the director.
In the film field, TV5MONDE actively promotes cinema on its screens. In November, every Sunday and Thursday at 21.00, it will show films subtitled in Spanish such as: El amor en cuestión, by ANDRÉ CALLETTE, Amistades sinceras with ANNIE GIRARDOT, Un pueblo casi perfecto with the appearance of the Spanish actress CARMEN MAURA or La regla del juego by JEAN RENOIR, among others.
In the educational area, TV5MONDE with its free educational platform, Apprendre & Enseigner www.enseigner.com and www.apprendre.com, give the teacher and the student multiple tools for teaching and learning French at all levels of education.
