Up to 19 short films can be seen, within the framework of the 17th Seville European Film Festival, as part of the Panorama Andaluz program, a section that continues its commitment to promote and make visible the creativity in this short format. "One more year, in the Panorama Andaluz shorts we find a great diversity of arguments and forms," said the coordinator of this section, Juan Antonio Bermúdez. "The presence of the non-fiction grows in this edition," he continued, "although in any case, it is evident a greater mix between both labels and there is also plenty of room for proposals attached to more or less conventional fiction". A selection of short titles ranging from period drama to travel diary, from flamenco essay to paranormal terror, from historical docufiction to the animated parable about identity. Among these short films, which will be screened in groups in three sessions, the Rosario Valpuesta Award will be granted by the University Pablo de Olavide and will have a prize of 2,000 euros, as well as the Special Rosario Valpuesta Award for artistic contribution, with a monetary award of 1,000 euros.
