As fresh as a frozen drink that relieves the heat on a summer afternoon, this debut feature lays out with the lightness of a 21st century-Rohmer, the eternal millennial dissatisfaction. A world full of possibilities makes it very difficult to choose just one. Violeta knows it well, full of talents and grace, but without really knowing how to apply them. Our "collector" spends the summer in Madrid, as an intern of a publishing house, plugged to the fan with her flatmate, and dodging the heat between affaires that far from clarifying doubts, those end up multiplying them. A few dialogues close the circle with spontaneity and sparkle, a luminous interpretation by Violeta Rodríguez.

Mamen Diaz
Mamen Díaz (Pulpí, Almería) has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University, lives in Madrid and her working life has taken her from film and TV productions to audiovisual productions and editing, field in which she gathered more than ten years of experience, working then in series and programmes for the main television channels, such as El ministerio del tiempo, and in other half a dozen films, among them Vivir es fácil con los ojos cerrados, by David Trueba, winner of 6 Goya awards. Now, at the age of 36, she has an indomitable mane and has directed her first film, Violeta No Coge El Ascensor, which was selected at the Seville European Film Festival.
