Ana, in her late 40s with passing through a rough patch with her partner, goes on holiday to Tuscany with her friend Verena and her family, including her teenage children and one of their cousins, Oakley. In the closed universe of the solitary village, Oakley becomes Ana's object of desire. An object of desire that will be revitalizing in her way of seeing her life and herself, of recovering lost desire, and of becoming aware of what it means to stop being young. An uncomfortable incident takes her out of the family circle and changes her perspective. Perhaps the only way to find her place in the world is this, because the great changes are those that happen within.
