From Sónar to Cannes: the co-founder of the festival of advanced music (and responsible for its unmistakable image), Sergio Caballero is a multidisciplinary artist with an extensive surreal, puzzling and comical work, of which we will see a sample in this show: the perturbing short film Je te tiens (selected in Cannes, and part of an installation), in which a mother and a daughter (Ángela Molina and Virginia Rousse), drive through a succession of impossible landscapes, while talking about motherhood and suicide; and Ancha es Castilla, a horror and sick-humor film that tells the story of a girl possessed by the Devil and all the exorcisms she performs with her family. In addition, we will see a selection of some other of his pieces, in conversation with the director.
