After the smashing success of The Kingdom, which won seven Goya Awards, Sorogoyen returns with a film that derives from his agonizing short film of the same name nominated for an Oscar in 2019. Elena (Marta Nieto) receives a call from her six-year-old son, who tells her he's lost on a beach in France and can't find his father. This is the last thing she knew about him. Ten years later, Elena lives on the same beach, and has rebuilt her life. But everything changes when she meets Jean, a French teenager who reminds her of her son. A strong connection emerges between them that will end up arousing suspicion.
