With the 2011 disturbances in London as a background, Leon tries to survive a broken home and his lack of prospects. Twiggy, a girl who lives in a squat, becomes his hope for escape. Except that his race and his neighbourhood dictate other premises.

Jamie Jones

He started making films in 2000. He is director of the BBC documentaries Fighters and Heroin to Heaven, and was commissioned by VICE to direct the documentary Built on Steel. His short films have won numerous awards. Among them are Capital (2013) and The Nest (2018). His first feature film, Obey, premiered at Tribeca, where it won the Best Photography Award.
