Between the ethnography and the myth, taking the chiaroscuro Pedro Costa’s films as inspiration, Jaime Puertas gives us a close and universal portrait of the rural gypsy community of La Puebla de don Fadrique, Granada. The axis is Aurora, a woman who spends her days working in the forest and immersed in her daily tasks. The appearance of a primitive dimension, the annunciation of the oracle, the lights of a musical bar, the dead animals, a fire and a new forest ranger will make Aurora wake up from her winter lethargy. A film produced with the support of the ESCAC.

JAIME PUERTAS
Jaime Puertas was born in Puebla de don Fadrique (Granada) in 1996. He completed his film studies at Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) in 2019. Los Páramos is his final degree film.
