THE CRAZY ANTHROPOMORPHIC WORLD OF CHINTIS LUNDGREN
Drunken rabbits, a sexy wolf who ends up dedicating himself to gay porn, a rat and his filthy bachelor flat, a dominatrix cat, an unemployed fox in his thirties who lives with his mother... These are just some of the "little animals" that Estonian Chintis Lundgren has been breeding for some years now, adorable anthropomorphic creatures that make up one of the most solid (ruthlessly comical and absurd) imaginaries of contemporary animation. Her 2D animation with a distinctive colour palette and unmistakable visual style has led her over the last ten years, from self-taught learning to being an essential name at festivals such as Annecy, Ottawa or Sundance, to receiving various awards and being the object of retrospectives, and to founding her own studio in Croatia, Adriatic Animation, together with her companion Drasko Ivezic. Today she visits us with her zoo on her back, in a set of films, rarities and B faces with which to immerse us in her crazy anthropomorphic world.
