XVIII ANIMATION AND VIDEO GAME ENCOUNTER

The Andalusian Public Audiovisual Foundation is organising its 18th Meeting of Animation and Video Games in Andalusia: A Before and After in the Production of Animation and Video Games (#animSEFF20), as part of the Seville European Film Festival. This vital event, scheduled to take place on the morning of November 10th, 2020, will provide an opportunity to gauge the current situation of these sectors at regional, national and international level. Due to the current health emergency caused by the Covid-19, this edition will be held online and, as always, is free of charge. The Meeting brings together the main associations in the sector -Diboos and DEV-, in a framework session, in which they will put into context the current situation of the industry and how it has been affected by the pandemic. Then, in two thematic sessions, companies and professionals will discuss the process of creating animation and video game related content, and the enormous possibilities these offer for motivating learning, responding in a real way to the educational needs of both schools and families, something that has been evident since the State of Alert was declared.
