June 4, 2021 - Valladolid’s International Film Week (SEMINCI) has joined the Profestivals21, which until now grouped together the festivals of Seville, Malaga and Huelva, with the general objective of combining experiences and criteria, seeking greater recognition of the festivals as cultural and industrial events of social interest, as well as promoting their growth and development. As Juan Antonio Vigar specified: "We want to continue to be a seedbed for projects and creativity".
This was announced this morning at a press conference by the director of the SEFF, José Luis Cienfuegos, the director of the Malaga Festival, Juan Antonio Vigar, the director of the SEMINCI, Javier Angulo, and the director of the Huelva Ibero-American Film Festival, Manuel H. Martin, following a meeting held as part of the 24th Malaga Festival.
Profestivals21 is thus formed by four festivals of proven public transcendence, with experience, history and institutional support, as well as important recognition by the film industry due to a unique programme of contents.
