GOOD VIBES TO RISE THE FESTIVAL CURTAIN

Positive vibes as the curtain rise on the 17th edition of the Seville European Film Festival. Darío Adanti (Buenos Aires, 1971) and Edu Galán (Oviedo, 1980), creators of the popular satirical magazine 'Mongolia', have been the first faces to be seen this year in the festival's photocall. Tonight they will be hosting an opening gala that will be full of irony and provocation, like the publication they founded in 2012, to address the current pandemic and make people smile as these nine days of European cinema begin by showcasing more than 150 titles, including 28 world premieres and 72 national premieres. The Lope de Vega Theater will host this initial event, which will also be available to watch live on this website. After that, the audience will proceed to enjoy the screening of the film that will open this year's edition, the German film 'Undine', which will compete in the Official Section.
