O.V in English subtitled in Spanish
The first English film by the director of Lourdes, who takes us to Alice's laboratory, which has created a plant that, if properly cared for, gives off an aroma that generates happiness. A vegetable tamagotchi that begins to change everyone except Alice, who suddenly finds herself in a disturbing situation. Not exactly a thriller about killer plants (not really), but a psychological plot with cronenbergian touches of humour, like Invasion of the Body Snatchers on the Prozac Era. Featuring Emily Beecham (Best Actress at Cannes for this role) and Ben Whishaw.
