EUROPEAN FILM AWARDS IN SEVILLE

Since 2005, the Seville Festival has hosted the announcement of the nominations for the European
Film Awards. Coinciding with its 15th birthday, in 2018 Seville will celebrate its link with European film
by hosting the presentation of the European Film Academy’s Awards on 15th December in the Teatro
de la Maestranza.

The city named by Lonely Planet as the best travel destination in 2018, will have a
true “cinema autumn” full of activities and encounters organised around the EFA Awards. It will be an
historic celebration that positions the city in the international cultural context and the perfect setting to
celebrate a Happy European Cinema.
