We will learn about the process of adapting a novel into an audiovisual work through the success stories of two Andalusian screenwriters. Marina Parés, winner of a Goya for Best Adapted Screenplay for the dramatic film ‘Ane’ (2020) directed by David Pérez Sañudo, will talk about her adaptation of the novel ‘Los últimos románticos’. Isa Sánchez, renowned screenwriter, will share her work on several series and films, including ‘Ni una más’, ‘Segunda muerte’, ‘Honor’ and ‘Ena’. Practical training on screenwriting and creation, the session will focus on the process of creating and adapting characters, settings and dialogues.
