In recent years there has been an increase in the number of films produced in Europe. It has been the case that Spain already produces more films than Germany, despite having far fewer inhabitants, with a local market share that is maintained, so that films cannibalise each other. Is overproduction a problem, how can it be solved, what measures should be taken, what genres should be promoted? These will be discussed: David Puttman (film producer), María Luisa Gutiérrez (producer and audiovisual entrepreneur), Alexandra Lebret (Managing Director European Producers Club) and Paola Malanga (Artistic Director of the Rome Film Festival) together with John Lomas Bullivant (moderator).
