Young reindeer Niko is being raised by his single mother, but he knows that his father is a member of Santa Claus’s legendary Flying Forces—the coolest reindeer in the world! However, he has never met his dad, and everyone laughs at his attempts to fly, as he keeps falling. When a pack of hungry wolves, led by the evil Black Wolf, attacks the reindeer herd, Niko feels responsible and embarks on a desperate and dangerous mission through icy blizzards and wild terrain to find his father. Accompanied by Julius, a clumsy flying squirrel who has cared for him since he was a baby, they save the life of a sassy, singing weasel named Wilma. Reluctantly, Wilma shows Niko and Julius the way to Santa’s workshop. Along the way, Niko discovers an evil plot to destroy the famous flying squadron and replace it with the wicked Black Wolf and his gang.
