Christoph Lauenstein y Wolfgang Lauenstein

The twins Christoph and Wolfgang Lauenstein (born in 1962 in Germany) worked as writers and directors of animated films. From 1985 to 1989 they studied animation (Wolfgang in Hamburg and Christoph in Kassel). In 1990 their short film Balance won an Oscar, and they founded their production company Lauenstein & Lauenstein in Hamburg. With this, they direct animated commercials with different techniques for international clients such as Coca-Cola, Nike, Smarties, Telekom, Fuji Film and Tchibo, and also numerous short films. Since 2008 they have worked on developing their feature films Luis & the Aliens (2018) and Marnie’s World, which premiered at Annecy in 2018.
