SEFF Noche - Conciertos

seff noche

After the show, the party continues. And #16FestivalSevilla offers a stimulating and very complete programme of concerts that will take the spirit of the event beyond the seat and make everyone who feels like dancing move. Write it down in your calendars!

tormente

FRIDAY 8 NOVEMBER

Café Casino de la Exposición

TORMENTA TROPICAL hostedbySomewhereisyours
+ Warm Up: Maribel SebastianDeejais

A track of bumper cars brought them together forever. And a real track came along, “Los autos locos”, by Los Nastys, the band where Luis Basilio plays. Antía Van Weill does it in Bifannah, another jewel of our indie. Somewhereisyours is the logical result of a life with a lot of of adventures and little sleep: in their musical sessions, Peruvian chicha sounds mix with New Yorker salsa. The prejudices, when it comes to dancing, should be left in the wardrobe.

delaporte

SATURDAY 9 NOVEMBER

Sala X

DELAPORTE
+ AfterParty:La Rubia Pincha

If there's a band from our scene that can boast of merit to sneak into an European Film Festival, that is definitely Delaporte. Check out if not in his voluminous euro-curriculum: of Italian-Spanish origin, the duo formed by Sandra Delaporte and Sergio Salvi have rubbed elbows with Giorgio Moroder and have walked its unique concept of electronic music by appointment so prestigious continental like the Eurosonic Noordeslag.

Bifannah

SUNDAY 10 NOVEMBER

Long Rock Sevilla

BIFANNAH
+ AfterParty:Ms. Purple

“Danças Líquidas” is the recent and latest album of one of those nice surprises that, from time to time, illuminates the music of our country: Bifannah. Recorded side by side with Frank Maston, bassist of Jacco Gardner and producer of Paint, the album, pure delicatessen, is a decisive step forward in the dazzling trajectory of a band that lives -and dances- placidly under the sun of the West Coast psychedelia and to the rhythm of the tastiest tropicalism.

fuzillis

MONDAY 11 NOVEMBER

Long Rock Sevilla

THE FUZILLIS
+ AfterParty:Ravoldi Ferreira

Watch out for these names: Mr. Dan Martin, Thomas “T-Mag” Maguire, Wilco “The Hammer” van Eijk and Frankie Fuzilli Sr. No, we are not in a remake of “Ocean’s Eleven” nor begging for our lives in front of suited up guys. Although this “unstoppable rock’n’roll machine grind-a-go-go” - as they define themselves - would not be out of tune in a Las Vegas live. Because The Fuzillis, my friends, are synonymous of partying. And yes, worthy of Danny and his entourage.

capsula

TUESDAY 12 NOVEMBER

Long Rock Sevilla

CAPSULA
+ AfterParty:Antuan

Authentic rock stakhanovites, Coni Duchess and Martín Guevara have become, over the years, icons of the genre in our scene. “Bestiarium”, their last shot of a loader always bursting with gunpowder, concentrates all the virtues of a couple that is as welcome as it is well-integrated. Devilishly lubricated, they’re still as flammable as their first day. Hey, what will this rock thing have to do with the eternal youth?

mono

WEDNESDAY 13 NOVEMBER

Long Rock Sevilla

MONO RABIOSO
+ AfterParty:Pedro de Dios

The jungle and swamp can house fantastic creatures, without the mediation of J. K. Rowling but with the permission of Robert Johnson. More hoodoo and santeria than white magic. That’s Mono Rabioso, the missing link between La BIG Rabia, Chileans, and Pelo Mono, Andalusians. The rock-bolero of some and the Amazonian blues of others merge into a rara avis, to the delight of the explorers of adventurous sounds and the hunters of endangered species.

kyne

THURSDAY 14 NOVEMBER

Sala X

KYNE
+ AfterParty:Los Dominguito

While Ernesto Castro and Yung Beef follow the fuss and half of the millennial generation in Spain wonders if it will be true that trap is the soundtrack of our “last” crisis, something that doesn’t seem to be in the air is the genre that has made of the autotune the greatest of its traits. With only 24 years old and charged with love for R&B, Barcelona’s KYNE is the latest trap sensation: 7 original songs already published on Youtube and more than a million views.

vancouvers

FRIDAY 15 NOVEMBER

Sala X

VANCOUVERS
+ AfterParty:Unicornio Dj

There was a time when the indies, i.e., dominated the land. Years in which fanzines and music magazines proliferated (raise your hand if you remember Factory!), there seemed to be more bands than festivals and not the other way around, such a band like the Vancouvers sparked the admiration of a big star like Alex Chilton. It’s a good thing that not only nostalgia lives within a person, and here the Madridians have returned. And in unbeatable shape.

carlangas

SATUDAR 16 NOVEMBER

Café Casino de la Exposición

CARLANGAS
+ Warm Up: Tali Carreto

A restless ass can’t be beaten. If there was a Peter Pan in the national indie, Carlangas would certainly be chosen to be his shadow. A free spirit. 24 hour working people, the Galician is also in charge of Novedades Carminha, which produces an album for Camellos, rides the airwaves together with Ángel Carmona (another man orchestra), scores a summer song with Bronquio or serves - as is the case - as a musical selector with both tact and style
