Manuel Muñoz Rivas | Spain | 2017 | 93 min. | O.V. Spanish with English subtitles
Among the pearly dunes of Doñana, far from civilization, living in a parallel time, a few solitary men still resist while the sea stares at them, pushing back the sand that is gradually eating away their houses. A mythical territory, under which lies buried and undiscovered the legendary Tartessus. We are submerged in its transparent light in this film by the editor of works such as Arraianos, Slimane or Dead Slow Ahead (Mauro Herce is the director of photography here). A look through the layers of a time that is eternal, like the imperturbable blue sea.
