VLADIMIR DE FONTENAY

Vladimir de Fontenay | Canada, Francia | 2017 | 105 min. O.V. English with Spanish subtitles

Bone, 8 years old, is caught between fascination and fear of a life full of adventures without responsible parents. With all their belongings in a van, Ali, his mother, and Evan, her boyfriend, live on the move, with no money, with no home, in a world of cheap motels and petty theft: a grunge Bonnie and Clyde who take him from one place to another, forming an irresponsible, improvised family. A film that navigates between crude reality and moments of poetry, it premiered at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes.
