Carlos Marques-Marcet

Carlos Marques-Marcet | Spain | 2014 | 99 min. | V.O. Spanish, Catalan and English subtitled in Spanish

When Alex gets an unexpected but irresistible grant to go to Los Angeles, she doesn’t hesitate for a moment. She has an increasingly solid relationship with Sergio, and they have decided to have a child, a project that is put on hold because of the trip. After all, with Internet and the new technologies, they can be in constant contact. Except that the computer screen, as they will end up discovering, isn’t enough. Nor is the great love they feel for each other. A love story in which Marques-Marcet talks, from the gut, of how the image (cinema) comes between two people, and how this sign of the times generates new, complex personal and emotional problems.
