Eskil Vogt | Norway | 2014 | 96 min. | V.O. Norwegian subtitled in Spanish and English

Ingrid, who has gone blind recently, rebuilds her rather dull life in her imagination, rewriting it with more novelesque touches. She starts by redistributing roles: in this new layout, her boring husband has an affair that Ingrid reconstructs from fragments of sound. And, to make up for her sightlessness, she brings Einar into the equation. A bachelor with a liking for Internet porn, he is an old school friend of her husband and a secret voyeur of the latter’s mistress. Thus, Blind presents the sensorial experience of blindness, not as an abyss of blackness but as a protective barrier behind which there is a particular inner life, lucid and also dangerous.
