Oggy y las cucarachas

Olivier Jean-Marie

Olivier Jean-Marie | France | 2013 | 80 min. | No dialogues

A film based on the famous series Oggyet les cafards from the Xilam studio, with an aesthetic mid-way between Tex Avry and Ren&Stimpy. Oggy is a chubby blue cat who would spend his days eating in front of the television if it weren’t for a trio of cockroaches, all Ramone namesakes – Joey, Dee Dee and Marky-, who are determined to ruin his life. A thousand crazy adventures, which draw on the absurd and on slapstick, are to be found in this long awaited film version of the TV series: the age-old struggle between Oggy and those wicked (and fiendishly funny) cockroaches.

Script: Olivier Jean-Marie
