Michael Noer

Michael Noer | Denmark | 2013 | 91 min. | O.V. Danish subtitled in Spanish and English

Noer, who already studied criminal territory with R, digs even deeper and reaches the very edge of the downward spiral and of the slip that will send the victim falling inevitably into it. With the soul of a documentary, the narrative of a tragedy and occasional mannerism of a thriller, it gradually reveals the story of Casper, the eldest of three siblings and son of a single mother, who starts to make a living by stealing from private houses and ends up sparking off a war between gangs. A film that delves into the human condition, with a special focus on Casper’s complex relationship with his brother.
