Mo and Rashid are two brothers of Egyptian descent who were born and live in a London suburb. Rashid is the elder, and his ambitions don't go much further than delinquency and drug dealing. At least Rashid is quite sure he doesn’t want the same kind of life for Mo, his younger brother, so he tries to keep him away from the streets. However, Rashid’s role as a model makes Mo feel insecure and debating between two diverging ways of facing his future. Sally El Hosaini debut film has been compared, because of its casting and atmosphere, to El odio by Kassovitz.
