The moon man is a short, bald man living inside the satellite. Only children seem to notice him. One night he grabs the tail of a comet and lands on the Earth, just the place where powerful people, swollen with pride, are testing space colonisation. A scientist and a group of children -who are very sad because of the disappearance of this unpaired Selenite- plot together to take him back to his place of origin. Moon Man is, along with Otto: Autobiografía de un osito de peluche and Die drei Räuber (Los tres bandidos), one of the famous characters created by the Alsatian renowned writer and draughtsman, Tomi Ungerer. As a children’s literature author, his work has received several prestigious awards and has been translated into more than sixteen languages.
