Ivan Olsen is a sensitive, intelligent boy whose life is full of problems both at school and out of it: he faces humiliations and dirty tricks by his classmates and gangs. While at home, instead of comforting him or advising him for the tough everyday, his father is obsessed with the idea that Ivan should fight against his setbacks with determination, just like his great idol Tarzan would do. But destiny, however, has a surprise in store for him, as a woman will prepare him a magic potion which shall make him be the best in everything he puts his mind to for a day.

Michael Hegner

Michael Hegner started his career in the animation world as an assistant in 1987. Shortly afterwards, he was already working on animations and storyboards, particularly in films like Werner-Beinhart (1990) or Jungle Jack (1993). The nineties played also a decisive role as he began shooting TV spots and ads which helped him develop a quick, imaginative style. Between 1998 and 2000 he co-directed his first animation film, Help I am a fish!, along with Stefan Fjeldmark, and that meant the beginning of a prolific career which he channeled by creating his own company, HegnerAnimation, in 2008.
