The actress and director Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi is undoubtedly one of the most brilliant European actresses alive. Ozon, Spielberg, Chéreau, Bonitzer, Bartas and Bellocchio are among those who have directed her. She has also shown herself to be a unique filmmaker, with a filmography that is both personal and forceful. Her films are rapturous, with great emotional intensity and bipolar humour, and they also have an irresistible charm. In Seville, she will present her latest feature film Une jeune fille de 90 ans, in a double programme with the world première of her short film Les larmes amères d'une actrice.
Born in Lanzarote, the designer Paco Delgado is one of the most international figures in our cinema. He is the only Spaniard nominated for the Oscar for his wardrobe designs: in 2012 for Les misérables and in 2016 for The Danish Girl. In Spain, he has been responsible for the wardrobe design in Alex de la Iglesia’s films since La Comunidad. He won the Goya for Las brujas de Zugarramurdi, and in 2012 for Blancanieves by Pablo Berger. He has worked with Almodóvar (La mala educación, La piel que habito), Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Biutiful), Gerardo Herrero (Los aires difíciles), Manuel Gómez Pereira (Reinas) and with M. Night Shyamalan, among many others.
